Utica firefighters were called to a large blaze on the city's west side late on Sunday evening. The fire, reported on the UFD's facebook page to be at 1207 Whitesboro Street, was brought under control early Monday morning.

February 26, 2013 Two dogs who went missing from a Utica man have recently been found. Both dogs appeared to have been shot in the head and left on train tracks in Whitestown. The person who left the dogs apparently wanted a train to smash the bodies.
