8 Severely Neglected Dogs Rescued From Herkimer County Home

Several severely neglected dogs are finally getting the help they need and the man accused of treating them inhumanely is facing animal cruelty charges.

The Herkimer County Humane Society took in 8 dogs seized from a large ongoing animal cruelty investigation in the town of Danube. They now need your help to care for these animals that have several medical issues. The group of dogs includes a new mom and her 4 puppies. "She is very sick, weak & dehydrated," the HCHS shared on Facebook.

Paul Tarbox is facing felony animal cruelty and other misdemeanor charges. Police are continuing to investigate.
