The Zac Brown Band is coming back to central New York with one of the year's biggest concerts.

The "Chicken Fried" group is taking over St. Joseph's Health Amphitheater at Lakeview May 31 on their Roar with the Lions tour. Special guest Gregory Alan Isakov will open the show, with hits like "Big Black Car."

Tickets go on sale January 17 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster and Live Nation, and will range from $33.75 to $103.50.

The "Roar with the Lions Tour" revolves around the historic depiction of lions as strong, courageous and loyal.

“Our summer tour is inspired by the folklore surrounding the figure of the lion. I am a Leo, and all of the guys in the band are lions,” Zac Brown said in a press release. “They exemplify strength, courage, intelligence, and loyalty, and work in tandem to defend their territory and one another. The crowd is our pride – rooted in togetherness and fiercely loyal. They always show up for each other, no matter what, just like our fans always show up for us. We can’t wait to hear you roar with us!"
