Zac Brown Band Asked to Carry a Bead for Central New York Kids Battling Cancer
Will the Zac Brown Band follow John Mayer's lead, wearing a bead for kids battling cancer in central New York? Maureen's Hope Foundation is asking the band to carry a bead when they are in Syracuse this Summer.
Maureen's Hope Foundation and children in the Beads of Courage program had a special message for Zac Brown during a recent event. "Your people in central New York are asking you to support patients at Galisano Children's hospital and carry a bead."
The Zac Brown Band will play at the Lakeview Amphitheater on June 23.
John Mayer showed his support, wearing a bead when he performed at Lakewview last year.
The Beads of Courage program allows children to tell their story with colorful beads that symbolize milestones they achieved during treatment. You can Carry A Bead too to honor the courage of children battling cancer.
The Carry a Bead program allows you to carry one bead then return it to Maureen's Hope with a note of encouragement for the kids at Galisano Children's Hospital. You keep the matched bead as a reminder.
Watch the children from the Beads of Courage program ask the Zac Brown Band for their support.
