You Can Pick the New York State Fair Sand Castle

Have an idea for this year's New York State Fair sand sculpture? You could see it come to life.

Organizers of the New York State Fair want this year's sand sculpture idea to come for the public.  "You come year after year to see the sand sculpture and you have so many ideas of what it could be."

You have until Thursday, July 25th at midnight to submit your ideas for the annual sculpture.

A panel of judges will narrow it down to the top 20, then you will be able to vote on your favorite.

Voting will be open from Tuesday, July 30th at 6:00AM until Monday, August 5th at 1:00PM. The winner will be chosen Monday, August 5th.

The annual sand sculptures have honored everything from Woodstock and agriculture, to state police and the Adirondack railroad.
