Raise your hand if you're ready for Spring. It may say it on the calendar but it's yet to arrive in central New York where piles of snow can still be seen. And Spring isn't coming anytime soon. This week there's freezing rain and snow in the forecast.

Tuesday, April 3rd the National Weather Service is calling for a chance of snow and freezing rain before 10am, then rain and snow likely between 10am and noon. The good news is there will be little or no ice accumulation and less than a half inch of snow is possible.

Wednesday we'll see highs in the 50s but then it turns cold with more snow Wednesday night, right through Saturday.

Wednesday night: snow with overnight lows dropping to 25 degrees
Thursday: chance of snow with a high near 36
Thursday Night: chance of snow showers with a low around 25
Friday: chance of snow showers before 11am with a high near 41
Friday Night: chance of snow showers with a low around 24
Saturday: chance of snow showers with a high near 36

We haven't seen Spring in central New York since....well last Spring. 50 degree weather returns Sunday but we won't see 60s, which is normal temperature for this time of year until the middle of the month. 70 degree weather may arrive by the end of April, if we're lucky.
