Wind off Lake Ontario Creates Ice House

How cold is it? Cold enough to cover an entire home in ice off Lake Ontario.

Living by water is nice in warmer weather but it has a downside. John Kucko, a photographer from Rochester posted pictures of the ice house. "5 days of wind whipped Lake Ontario in WNY will do that."

Zack Parker captured a few pictures of more homes near Lake Ontario covered in ice.

This isn't unusual. Remember the car covered in ice last year? It was parked near Lake Erie in Buffalo.

We won't see ice in central New York but we will see snow and lots of it. A late Winter storm could bring over a foot of snow Monday night through Wednesday.
