Do you love to Deck the Halls? Then break out your boughs of holly for a Christmas tree decorating contest in Rome that will help bring more gifts to children in central New York.

You're invited to don your gay apparel for the Festival of Trees decorating contest at Trinity United Church. Just bring an artificial tree and all the trimmings Friday, December 14th. The decorating begins at 3pm with judging in the two categories starting at 6pm.

You can see all the decorations at the Festival of Trees Saturday, December 15th from 10-3. Admission is a donation, children's coats or hats, a new unwrapped toy or non-perishable food items. Everything collected will go to Paying it Forward, a program that sponsors families in Rome who need a little help for the holidays.

Theme: 'Children are Our Future'
Judging & refreshments: 6pm
Two categories: 3ft and under, 4ft - 6ft
Entry Fee: $5 per tree
