What Would Be Your One Superpower?

So, we've all seen Superman fly or the Invisible Woman disappear, right? Well, if you had to choose, what one superpower would you like to have? If you said the ability to fly, you're not alone--that was the number one answer in a recent web poll.

In poll conducted by Woot.com, a daily-deal site, it asked, "If you could have one superpower, what would it be?" And, like I mentioned before, with 34.9 percent of the vote, flight was the number one answer. Personally, this is the one that I would choose, too. I've always wondered what it would be like to fly for a day. But, in addition to flight, I would want it to be top-speed flight. I want to be able to travel to a different country and come back in a short amount of time.

As for the number two answer for your one superpower, people chose shape-shifting. Now, according to Wikipedia.com, "shapeshifting occurs when a being (usually human) either (1) has the ability to change its shape into that of another person, creature, or other entity or (2) finds its shape involuntarily changed by someone else." Coming in as the number three answer was "other." People had a choice of flight, shape-shifitng, super-strength, super-speed and weather control to pick from as their one superpower. And, the number three pick was "other." Reading comments on the poll, some people wanted the option of invisibility, time travel and mind control, just to name a few.

So, where did the other options I mention line up? Well, in order coming in at number four for superpowers people picked was super-strength, followed by super-speed and weather control.
