Weapons Seized After Verbal Threats at Rome Liquor Warehouse Go Viral

Rome Police are investigating verbal threats from a Facebook video that's gone viral.

Police say in the video, Liquor Warehouse manager Jason Deshane threatened an employee, a violation of New York state’s Red Flag law. The law prevents anyone who is a threat to themselves or others from purchasing or possessing firearms.

An Extreme Risk Protection Order was issued and served on Jason and Michael Deshane, Jason’s father and the liquor store’s owner.

Police removed all firearms, rifles and shotguns from the home they share.
