Twas three nights before Christmas and all through the house, water was leaking while I slept like a mouse.  The dishwasher was dripping, in the kitchen out there.  Water was flowing everywhere.

The family was nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of vacations days danced in their heads.  When suddenly I awoke to hear Tadpole say, this is great way to start the day.

Out in the kitchen I heard such a clatter, so I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.  Water had flowed all over the floor.  It was in the bathroom, it was to the back door.

I grabbed towels, to clean up the mess.  Why it had happened is anyone's guess.  Now, the waters turned off and the dishwashers shut down.  Every towels been used and I avoided a nervous breakdown.

It could have been worse, hours later I see.  The water could have flowed to our Christmas tree.  Ruining presents instead of tile floor, so its a small blessing the damaged wasn't more.

The towels can be washed, the dishwasher replaced.  This isn't the worst thing our family has faced.  We fixed it together, and all is well but I might have a dishwasher I'll want to sell.
