Verona Teen Spreading Blessings in Central New York
Dylan DePasquale, a VVS student, noticed a blessing box in the Verona fire station was empty. So the next morning, on his way to school, the 14 year-old stopped to fill the box.
"A lot of people think grades and sports are the only thing to value or brag about in their kids," says Dylan's grandmother Terry. "Those things matter but not as much as kindness and generosity and that's something Dylan is loaded with."
Area churches check on the Blessing box and use the donations to feed those who need it most in central New York.
Thanks Dylan for helping feed the hungry. For your random act of kindness, you're our 'Hometown Hero.' If you know someone who deserves to be recognized email Polly@bigfrog104.com with all the details.
