Summer has certainly flown by as we roll toward Labor Day weekend. If you haven't made a visit to the Utica Zoo as part of your summer trips yet, here are two chances to do it for free.

The final summer “Free Admission Night” is at the Zoo tonight.  From 4 to 7, everyone can enjoy the entire facility. Parking shuttles will be run from the Parkway Rec Center and MVCC from 3:30 to 7:30.

Tomorrow the Utica Zoo holds a First Responder Appreciation Day. All first responders get free admission from 10 to 4:45. In addition, there will be first responder equipment and informational booths to visit beginning at 1. Firetrucks, ambulances, police vehicles, the Utica Fire Department Smoke House and Sparky the Dog will be on the grounds.

Regular admission prices to the Utica Zoo are Child 2 and under are free, Children 3 to 12 $4.75, Adult 13 to 61 $8.00, and Senior 62+, Military, College w/ID $6.75. For more information visit Utica Zoo's website or their Facebook page.
