Trail of 7000 Hand Carved Pumpkins in Jack-o-Lantern Blaze is a MUST See in New York
A trail of thousands of illuminated hand carved pumpkins in the annual Great Jack-O-Lantern Blaze is a must see this Fall in New York.
What's called the tri-state area's biggest, most electrifying Fall event, the Jack-O-Lantern Blaze is set to open for another year but tickets sell out fast.
More than 7,000 illuminated jack o’ lanterns, all designed and hand-carved on site by local artisans will be on display from September 28th to November 24th. They made up elaborate displays. From the windmill with pumpkins all around, to the brand new medieval castle with a flock of jack o’lantern owls standing guard.
Stroll across the Pumpkin Zee Bridge to watch the Pumpkin Carousel twirl.
Check out all the swimming aquatic creatures and a giant Sea Serpent. You can even be mesmerized by a color-changing star show in the Pumpkin Planetarium.
The huge spectacular takes more than 1,000 volunteers to scoop, carve, and light the pumpkins that can be viewed and heard with original music playing throughout the trail.
All proceeds from Blaze support the programs of Historic Hudson Valley, a non-profit education organization.
