Utica Traffic Advisory Columbia Between Varick and State

Multiple travel advisories are in effect today for the city of Utica, New York.

Columbia Street between State Street and Varick Street is closed today from 7:00am to 4:00pm for the installation of new drainage.

In addition, Route 5S east and Route 5S west between Broad Street and Culver Avenue will be closed from 9:00am to 2:00pm for utility work.

The New York State Department of Transportation says signed detours will be in place.

Drivers are advised to use extra caution driving in the area.
