Things To Think About As We Leap Into 2012

On this second to the last day of 2011, we can reflect on the past year and look ahead to the next one. But, there are some tidbits of information you may like to know about 2012.

In 2012, those who were born on February 29th, will actually be able to celebrate their birthday. The new year is a leap year, which occurs every four years, so those February 29thers don't have to settle for February 28th or March first to celebrate their birthdays (actually, I would celebrate all three).

More Factoids - There are three Friday the thirteenths during 2012: January 13, April 13  and July 13. As it will be a leap year, holidays leap ahead two days, Valentine's Day, February 14th is on a Tuesday, St. Patrick's Day, March 17th falls on a Saturday, (good news for the parade), the fourth of July occurs on a Wednesday, and Christmas Day is on a Tuesday.
