In my opinion, any time we feature Johnny Cash on our "Country Classic Double" at 11:30 a.m., it's an event. Today we kick off with "Sunday Morning Coming Down", a song written by Kris Kristofferson and recorded by Johnny Cash on this day in 1970. It went to number one later that year.
