Teen Hopes to Spend Summer Touring Oneida County Fire Departments

A central New York teen is spending his Summer visiting as many fire departments as he can. Joey Abt of Syracuse has even made a Bucket List of places he hopes to tour.

Abt loves everything about firefighting and spent last Summer touring departments in the Syracuse area. Now he's broadening his tour to include places in Oneida County. His list includes Utica, Rome and almost every fire department in between.

It's already been a busy start to the Summer for Abt who's been to several departments already. He even became an honorary member of the Minoa Fire Department and the Grand Marshal of the Field days parade.
