Take A Spooky Underground Boat Ride This Halloween
If you're looking for a great Halloween-themed adventure this year, head out to Lockport Cave & Underground Boat Ride.
Built in the late 1800's Lockport Cave was first used as a way to get water to local mills and businesses. Today it's a tourist attraction that takes you on an underground adventure that lasts over an hour.
During Halloween, the cave is transformed into a spooky crypt that you can explore with lanterns, making for a really creepy tour.
So creepy in fact, that the SYFY Network's Ghost Hunters found several strange happenings when they did an investigation in the caves during their 8th season.
Here's a look inside the Cave from WNLO TV in Buffalo:
Lantern Light and Halloween tours are operating now and there are still plenty of spots left throughout October.
Tours last about 1 hour and 25 minutes and cost $17.50 per person. Children under 8 years old are not permitted.
Walk-ins are welcome, but it's a better idea to make a reservation.
