It's a moment that has "techies" around the world all a-twitter. A new product announcement from Apple always generates a lot of interest and yesterday's unveiling of the "New iPad" was no different.  According to Reuters news service most experts expected the device to be called the iPad 3 but Apple CEO Tim Cook went for the "new" designation instead. haven't seen it

A new study found that men admitted to having problems figuring out such everyday household items as dishwasher, vacuums and food mixers while women fessed up to difficulty understanding gadgets like video games and MP3 players. These were, by far, not the only appliances and tech products that created problems for men and women.

It will definitely be atop many tech savvy Christmas lists this year providing that person can wait until December 25. But if not, the new Kindle Fire, Amazon.com's new tablet computer version of the e-book, will be available this week, first for those who pre-ordered and then for the rest of us.
