The weather at FrogFest is forecast to improve throughout the afternoon. There are NO excuses to not come out and enjoy the great show.

Thunderstorms are one of the coolest parts of nature. There is nothing like sitting in an enclosed porch or looking out a window and watching this powerful force alive and active. The smell of the air is something to soak in as well. I got some pretty cool footage of the storm and I want to share it with you!

Last week, Central New York was his with a huge snow storm bringing a lot of accumulation. With the rapid switch to warmer temperatures the snow that was piled up on one side of our parking lot here at Townsquare Media has melted forming not a puddle, a lake!

Now that we've begun the month of September, and we count down the days to autumn, let's take a look at what kind of weather may be coming our way this month in central New York. And that means checking the long-range forecast in "The Old Farmer's Almanac 2013".

So far, thankfully much of central New York has been spared the wrath of Hurricane (now Super Storm) Sandy. But, watching reports on The Weather Channel and elsewhere, you can't help but hope that our friends, neighbors and relatives in New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Massachusetts, Ohio, Virginia, D.C., Western New York and all other areas that took the brunt
