There is no question that this winter has been an awful one, but for our Canadian neighbors to the North it has been really bad. For Marcel Landry, the record snowfall in his town of Summerside left him trapped in his home, at least until he decided to dig a path. You'll never believe what is at the end of the tunnel that took him 6 hours to dig.
Target has announced that they are discontinuing operations in the Canada market and will close 133 stores. This decision was made based on a huge loss in the billions. The decision was made by company officials because they ultimately could not justify the investment with just the "hope" that the stores would make money.
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford has admitted to smoking crack cocaine, buying illegal drugs and excessive alcohol consumption but apparently many of his constituents don't have a problem with this. At least that's the reaction from many football fans who, according to FOX Sports, cheered Ford as he entered Toronto's Rogers Centre to watch the city's Argonauts play a CFL playoff game.
