In January 1865, a small group of German settlers came together at the Bierbauer Brewery in West Utica with one goal in mind: to promote German and American choral singing, along with their culture.

Whether you're of German heritage or not, you'll enjoy the fun, food and brews at the annual Utica Maennerchor's Bavarian Festival. It all begins this Friday at 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. at the Utica Maennerchor grounds, 5535 Flannagan Road in Marcy.
