There's no more tubing at Taberg Tower.

The Matt family decided after 16 years, to close Taberg Tower Tubing. "It's sad but there were several reasons that led to our difficult decision."

Taberg Tower Tubing opened in 2002 with groomed snow lanes and luge runs for tubing fun. But the unpredictable Winter season in central New York made it difficult to stay in the black. "The last few years there's hasn't been much snow and we weren't open much."

High insurance costs added to yearly losses at Taberg Tower Tubing, forcing the Matt family to move in a new direction. "The snow lanes have been turned into lanes for pit bikes."
