For the second year in a row, Syracuse will host a day-long celebration that's all about bacon. Sorry vegans.

The second annual Syracuse Bacon Festival is set for Saturday, August 18 in Clinton Square in downtown Syracuse.

Head out from 12 - 8 p.m. and you'l be able to sample the most creative creative, bacon infused dishes you've ever tasted from over 30 different vendors.

You'll be able to try interesting takes on traditional bacon dishes like bacon wrapped scallops and bacon mac 'n cheese, but what you really have to do is try the unique dishes like bacon milkshakes or bacon kettle corn!

Admission is free and there's plenty to do for the kids, plus there will be live music all day.

Don't forget to dress up as your favorite bacon dish, or at least be ready to take pictures of all the bacon-themed costumes.
