A Syracuse couple has cash for life.

Pasquale and Jacqueline DiFlorio won $7 million on the New York Lottery CASH4LIFE ticket. The North Syracuse couple matched all six numbers drawn for the August 4 drawing.

“We checked the ticket several times and then hid it a safe place,” said DiFlorio. “Its surreal,” he continued.

The winning ticket was purchased at Kinney Drugs on West Taft Road in Syracuse.

The DiFlorio’s opted to split a one-time lump sum payment. Each will receive $2,351,300 after required withholdings. Neither have any immediate plans for how to spend their new found winnings.

The Syracuse couple isn't the largest lottery winner outside New York City this summer. Joseph Krempa of Buffalo won $10 million on a $10,000 a Week for Life scratch-off ticket.

Kremp chose to receive his a one-time lump sum payment totaling a little over $6 million after required withholdings. “I plan to help my two kids and live life to the fullest,” he said.
