Push ups or a new pair of sneakers: a Syracuse police officer is giving back in a unique way, challenging area kids on the basketball court. And from the looks of things, he isn't spending a lot of money.

Brandon Hanks plays one on one and the rules are simple; score first and he'll give out a new pair of sneakers. Lose and you're doing 20 push ups. Highlights from the court show a lot of kids dropping to give Hanks 20 and not many wearing new shoes.

Want to take Officer Hanks on? Just let him know where you're shooting hoops and he'll be there. "Drop a location and I'm pulling up," he shared on Facebook. "This is too easy."

Officer Hanks may want to think about teaming up with a shoe company now that his unique court challenge is going viral. The video has over 20 thousand views and comments from hundreds of kids wanting to play.
