The National Weather Service has Winter Weather Warnings for much of Central New York with blizzard-like conditions forecast for Upstate New York. And it's all followed by dangerously cold wind chills. Here are the latest details.

WHAT...

A Winter Storm Warning until 1 a.m. Wednesday for Southern Oneida, Otsego, Delaware, and Sullivan Counties, with 6 to 10 inches of snow and 30 mph winds through tonight.

A Winter Storm Warning for Northern Oneida County with 9 to 14 inches of snow and 30 mph winds.

A Winter Storm Warning until 4 a.m. for Northern Herkimer and Southern Herkimer, Hamilton, and Southern Fulton Counties with 8 to 15 inches of snow

A Winter Weather Advisory until 1 a.m. Wednesday for Onondaga, Madison, Cortland, Chenango, and Broome counties with 3 to 6 inches of snow and 35 mph winds.

A Winter Storm Warning until 7 a.m. Friday for Upstate including Oswego, Jefferson, and Lewis Counties with 8 to 16 inches of snow possible through tonight. 2 to 3 feet possible by Friday morning, especially on the Tug Hill Plateau.

Wind chill warnings are in place for Upstate New York and will more than likely be issued for CNY too.  Temps will be 4 below tonight and near zero or below Thursday and Friday putting wind chills in the dangerous level of 25 to 30 below.


Winter Weather Preparation:
