Steel Magnolia is Calling it Quits

It's over for Steel Magnolia. The duo is calling quits, but both Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones plan to pursue solo careers.  Despite denying breakup rumors last year, Linsey tells 'Country Weekly' she and Joshua have split up, both professionally and personally. 

Linsey says she and Jones spent some time apart and when they got back together, they decided to continue touring together, but they'd each work on solo projects. Both were working on solo careers before they teamed up for CMT's 'Can You Duet,' a reality singing show they won.

The two will perform together throughout the spring and summer.

Jones spent some time in rehab in 2011.  I wonder if that contributed to the duo's problems.  I haven't heard whether he's still sober. We can only hope.

I'm sure Steel Magnolia's fans will 'keep on loving' them, even when they go solo.
