Looking to find out what's happening with the fall foliage in New York? Here's a report of where to catch some fall colors already as we near the end of September.

Lake Placid

The Lake Placid area is expecting near peak conditions this weekend with up to 85 percent color change in the higher elevations of the High Peaks. You can catch around 60 percent of color change in the village area.

 

Tupper Lake

Foliage reporters checking in with I Love NY from the Tupper Lake region predict the rapidly transitioning leaves to reach 65-70 percent color change by this weekend. Look for colors of cranberry, copper, mustard, goldenrod and russet.

 

Old Forge

Expect 75 percent color change this weekend with bright shades of red, orange and yellow in the Old Forge region.
