Save Some Bucks Buy New York State Fair Advance Tickets

It's fair, festival and vacation season and who couldn't use some discounts on entertaining those "bored" kids.  The Great New York State Fair is offering some significant savings if you buy advanced tickets.

Now through August 23, even purchasing daily admission tickets saves you some bucks. Tickets are $10 at the gate, but in advance they are only 6. And preview tickets for opening day are only a buck. Purchase the 6 day pass for $30 and you save 50%.

There's also significant savings on the ride all day wristbands, good for unlimited rides on the midway.  In advance, weekday passes are $20 and weekend passes are $25. Like the 6 day admission passes, there is also a mega ride pass that's good for 13 days for $70. The wristbands won't be good for use on the new Skyride.

Children 12 and under are admitted free every day of the State Fair August 23 through September 4. Seniors 60 and over are admitted free on Monday, August 28 and Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Students 18 and under are admitted free on Friday, September 1, 2017.
