On Comet! On Prancer!...To meet the children at Syracuse's Holidays in the City this December.

Syracuse's Holidays in the City is set for December 16 & 17 in Downtown Syracuse with Carolers, outdoor ice skating with Santa Claus, a holiday window walk and real reindeer!

Two of Santa's favorite reindeer - Comet and Prancer will be visiting with children and children at heart on December 16 from noon til 7p.m. & December 17 from noon til 4 p.m. in Hanover Square.

You and the kids will be able to meet and take photos with the reindeer and you'll even get to pet them.

There's also a 'Smart Santa' experience where you'll register ahead of time to give Santa an 'inside scoop' of what your child wants for Christmas, making the meet and greet with Old Saint Nick an exciting experience your little elves will never forget.

Holidays in the City will also have food and drink specials throughout downtown, a free movie at the Landmark Theater, Erie Canal Museum Gingerbread Exhibit, street-side carolers, and for the adults - a Santa-Palooza bar crawl.

There will even be a free shuttle to get you to everything you want to see faster, and it runs throughout the event.
