Maybe you donate to the The Rome Rescue Mission's food pantry around the holidays. While that is important, you should also know that they serve meals to clients throughout the entire year. It appears they are running out of some food supplies. Are you willing to donate?

Many of the following food items are used to make food baskets to give out to families, as well as to make meals in their kitchen. Here's a list of what they currently could use:

- Canned Corn
- Dressings
- Mayonaisse
- Kethup
- Mustard
- Salt
- Pepper
- All kinds of Spices (Garlic-Parslay-Oregano-Onions)
- Canned fruits
- Olives-green and black
- Tomatoe Sauce
- white vinegar
- croutons
- potatoes
- coffee
- creamer
- sugar

They could also use all kinds of meat products including: Hamburger, Chicken, Pork, Turkey, Ham, Hot Dogs, sandwich Meat, Bacon, and Sausage.

You can drop off your donations 7 days a week at 413 East Dominick Street in Rome. Their hours are: Monday-Friday 9:00-6:00 P.M., Saturday & Sunday 9:00-2:00 P.M. You can call with any questions too at 337-2516.
