Rome Rescue Mission In Need Of Christmas Donations
The Rome Rescue Mission is asking Central New York for help with providing Christmas meals and gifts to those less fortunate. Are you able to donate?
Here's a shopping list of grocery items they are looking for: Hams, potatoes, yams, mayo, pasta, sauce, dinner rolls, butter, bacon, eggs, juice, fresh fruit, and bagels, items for tossed salads, dressing, chips, dips, cheese and crackers for their annual Christmas meal.
Donations are being accepted Monday – Friday at 413 East Dominick Street from 9AM – 6PM & Saturday-Sunday 9a-2pm. Monetary donations are also accepted, checks can be mailed to PO box 337, Rome NY 13440 or online at Romemission.org.
Last year, the Rome Rescue Mission fed more than 350 people at its Christmas Celebration meal and distributed more than 250 meals to the poor and homeless through the community.

For boys the most requested items are: Educational Toys, Cars, Trucks, DVD’s, Science Games, Watches, Boxers, Socks, Tools, Remote control vehicles, Hoodies, McDonald Gift Cards, Video Games, Pajamas, T-shirts.
