Robin Roberts Publicly Admits She’s Gay

Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts has been very open about her health issues, talking publicly about her breast cancer. Now she's opening up about her personal life and acknowledging that she's gay.

In a Facebook post, Roberts reflects on the past year and the second chance at life she's been given. She thanks her family, her friends and her 'longtime girlfriend Amber.'

 
Good for her! Everyone should be allowed to be who they are. Being gay doesn't make her any less of a woman or any less of a great reporter. It makes her a role model for others who are still afraid to come out of the closet. Shout it from the rooftops Robin. Be proud of who you are.
