Reba McEntire has paved the way for many female country stars today and she's finally being recognized.  She's the Modern Era the inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame.  The news is bitter sweet for Reba who is in Tulsa Oklahoma at her father's bedside.  Clark McEntire recently had a stroke and is in a coma.  Reba left a message on her website, thanking fans for their prayers and positive thoughts for her family. 

Grand Ole Opry member Jean Shepard, who was the first female country singer to tour on her own is the Veteran's Era Inductee.  The Songwriter Inductee is Bobby Braddock who wrote such hits as "He Stopped Loving Her Today," "I Wanna Talk About Me" and "People Are Crazy."
