The New York Rangers pulled out another win with their backs to the wall, this time on the road in Washington holding off the Capitals 4-3 on Sunday night to setup a series deciding Game 7 on Wednesday night in the Big Apple.

The Rangers won on Friday night in overtime on home ice and were able to stave off a furious third period push from the Caps in Game 6.

Chris Kreider scored a pair of first period goals, Rick Nash found the back of the net and Dan Boyle scored what proved to be the game winner, supporting a 42 save effort from Henrik Lundqvist.

Washington's goals came from Evegeny Kuznetsov, Jason Chimera and Joel Ward.
