Point Place Casino Announces Grand Opening Date

The newest casino in New York State is set to open in Bridgeport less than a year after construction began.

The Oneida Nation has announced that the new Point Place Casino will open it's doors to the public on March 1, 2018.

You'll be able to play on over 500 slot machines and 20 table games on Point Place Casino's modern gaming floor.

The casino also has several restaurants and bars, including a third location of Wicked Good Pizza, and The Burgers of Madison County.

The casino is expected to create at least 200 jobs in Madison County.

You can find Point Place Casino on Route 31, and the 65,000 square foot casino will be completely smoke-free.

Stay tuned for grand opening celebration events. Announcements should be coming in the next few weeks.

Job recruiting has already begun for table game dealers, slot service representatives, cooks, bartenders, beverage servers, security officers, and positions on the Grand Opening Team.

You can still apply online through the Oneida Nation, or you can attend Point Place Casino's job fair on January 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the plaza at the intersection of Route 298 and Route 31.
