Piece of Utica Featured on New US Stamp
A piece of Utica will travel all over the world. A new stamp in Hudson River School stamp collection was released, featuring a portrait from Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute.
'Sunset' was painted by Frederic Edwin Church in 1846 and put on exhibit in Utica in the 1870's. Helen Munson purchased the painting and it's been here ever since.
