Winter Weather Didn’t Stop Oriskany Swan From Holding Up Traffic

While everyone in Central New York was preparing for slippery roads, and snowy conditions, the one thing we forgot to plan for was Swans who didn't care about holding up traffic.

This past week, a large swan was strolling down the center of Ridge Road in Oriskany. The Swan didn't move, or get out of the way for traffic. It truly didn't care where you had to go, or when you needed to be there.

Local resident Jonathan Meyer got a few pictures of our swan not caring about traffic what so ever. The look in it's face shows the swan knew you'd stop before hitting it.
