Oneida County Could Be Without a 2019 Dairy Princess
There's a chance Oneida County could be without a Dairy Princess for 2019. The Oneida County Dairy Promotion Committee and Cornell Cooperative Extension both report a lack of applications for the Princess, her court and, ambassadors. There's still time to apply, here's how.
The Dairy Princess Banquet is Sunday, April 28th and applications will be accepted for Princess and her court until April 15. Applicants need to be at least 16 years old and either live on a dairy farm or be sponsored by an Oneida County Dairy Farm. Nominations for Dairy Farmer of the Year, Ag Business of the Year and Silver Cow Awards are still open too.
To make nominations or get more info call MaryJane Burkert at 315-527-2886 or email Heather email@example.com The banquet is held at CCE Oneida County's offices in Oriskany April 28. Cowtails are at 1, with the banquet catered by Seymour's BBQ at 1:30. Tickets are just $15, reservations are required by April 22.
