NYPD Destroys 5000 Pounds of Fireworks [VIDEO]

Whether or not you attended a fireworks display over the holiday weekend, I can assure you, you didn't see anything like this. The NYPD blew up 5000 pounds of confiscated fireworks and caused quite a blast.  They should have set them off at night or even donated them to a charity to use for the 4th of July.  At least someone filmed the blast and put it on YouTube so we could all enjoy
