New Blossvale Farm Gets a Boost With Farm Hands

For the last 4 years, with the help of Art White and Kubota at White's Farm Supply, we've had the pleasure of shining the spotlight on our hard-working Central New York Farmers with Farm Hands. Nothing exemplifies the term hard-working more than the Racquet Farm in Blossvale, our grand prize winner.

At a time when many families are leaving the farm industry, Mike Racquet and Amanda Burkle are sprinting straight into the challenge of starting a new operation. Both in their mere 20's, tend to the daily chores of milking, feeding and caring for their growing herd, while holding down full-time jobs and it's all done by hand.

As our Farm Hand's grand prize winner Mike and Amanda will get VIP tickets to FrogFest 30 and hopefully, a day to relax and take a break from their fast-paced life. And to help the growing operation, White's Farm Supply will give them $2500 to use at any of their store locations.

Farm Hands has been such a great experience for myself and Polly. We thank each and every operation that allowed us to come out and get a behind the scenes look at their operation. Add a shout out, to The Riverside Diner who provided a delicious, warm breakfast every morning when the chores were done.
