Nellis-Acres Farm – ‘Thank A Farmer’

We’ve teamed up with Whites Farm Supply and James Wesley to ‘Thank a Farmer‘ at FrogFest.  We’ve been asking you to nominate farmers who deserve recognition and 2 will be James Wesley’s special guests at FrogFest June 15th. Today we recognize Nellis-Acres in Fort Plain.

'I would like Nellis-Acres to be honored in Fort Plain. Owners John Nellis, Chris Nellis, and Brittany Nellis. Their farm has been in the Nellis Family since 1723. The farm is a national bicentennial farm. The whole family is looking forward to it being a tricentennial farm in 2023.

Brittany is in the process of taking over the farm. She is the 10th generation. Her sister Erin is a senior in high school and also wants to come back to the farm after college.
