My Dog Ate My Christmas Gift

We love our pets but not as much when they eat things they shouldn't. For Christmas, I received lip balm in my stocking. Since it looked like an egg, I thought it was one of the coolest things I got from Santa. I think I used it once before my dog ate it. All that was left was the outside covering. How the dog got it open, I'll never know.

My husband blames the cat, saying he knocked it off the table so the dog could eat it and get in trouble. Both animals were in the 'dog house' for the rest of the evening.

All's well that ends well though. My husband and my daughter felt so bad, they both bought me new ones, so now I have two :)
