Mohawk Valley Flood Fundraiser a Success in Oneida

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by Summit Cars in Oneida this morning to donate to the Mohawk Valley Flood Fund.  A special thanks to Mark for coming in and helping me set up before the sun was even up and Bob who became Jeremiah B Frog to collect donations on the street.

The highlight of the morning for me was when two flood VICTIMS stopped by to donate to the cause.  We were there collecting much needed funds for them, not the other way around.  But they said, every little bit helps.  I just hope they good karma follows them and they receive their donation back ten times over.  It's people like this that makes living in Central New York a blessing.  Talk about neighbors helping neighbors.  This was the best shot I could get before they drove away.  May God Bless these two!

I challenged listeners to bring me my favorite breakfast for a $10 donation, each....Tim Horton's coffee and a sausage egg McMuffin from McDonalds.  Little did I know I'd get two of each, but it was the best $40 breakfast I've eaten.  AND all breakfast items dropped off came with a cash donation too.  Thank you!
