UPDATE: John Koscinski has been found and is safe.

A Central New York family is frantic to find their missing son and they've turned to social media for help.

Kimberly Hodom-Koscinski is asking if anyone been in contact with her son John Koscinski.

The SUNY Cobleskill student missed college final and was last seen on campus at approximately 1 PM on December 11.

Kimberly says her son didn't show up to help a friend and calls to his phone are going straight to voicemail.

The car John drive is also nowhere to be found. It's a dark gray 2012 Subaru Legacy with a New York license plate - LBA 2792.

Police Notified

The family has been working with the police in Cobleskill area and in Oneida County.

John is 5'11", has brown hair and brown eyes, weighs 210 and was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with the Metallica logo on it, a black coat, and blue jeans.

Anyone who may have information on John's whereabouts is asked to contact the New York State University Police at SUNY Cobleskill at 518-255-5555 or email UNIPOL@cobleskill.edu.

If your child goes missing, contact your local authorities and provide your child’s name, date of birth, height, weight, and descriptions of any other unique identifiers such as eyeglasses and braces. Tell them when you noticed your child was missing and what clothing he or she was wearing.
