Safety is always important when working with farm equipment, and by NY State law, teens between 14 and 16 must complete this course before working on a farm.  Herkimer County's Cornell Cooperative Extension, will be conducting the next Safe Tractor and Machinery program.

While we stress the importance of teaching youth to practice safety around equipment, the program is designed for all ages of experiences.  The program will be held in Clinton April 18-20 from 8:30 - 3:00 each day.  The program costs 4-H members, $25.  Non members are $30 and includes lunch and all materials.

Registration deadline is April 7th.  You can do it at CCE's website or by calling the Herkimer County 4-H Office at 315-866-7920 or email Jennifer Collins at jlr34@cornell.edu.
