A massive fire in Watertown destroyed three empty warehouses. Although no one was injured, smoke could be seen as far away as Alexandria Bay.

The blaze began Tuesday afternoon in one warehouse on Vanduzee Street, but quickly spread to two others. All three are owned by the city.
