Mark Hamill has told Entertainment Tonight that he and Carrie Fisher have been approached by George Lucas about returning to Star Wars. This story comes just days after it was reported that Harrison Ford is also interested in a return to the new trilogy.

The trio could make a return for the Episode VII, set for release in 2015, reprising their roles from the original Star Wars trilogy. However, nothing is confirmed and Hamill has said he would not commit to the project until he's sure more of the original cast will also be involved. Hamill told ET he does not know any plans for the plot of the movie, but wondered if it would focus on Luke Skywalker's children. Lucas has said the characters would be written out, not recast if they choose not to return. Read the full story here.
